Twenty years ago today, at 13:40, the first episode of the second season was broadcast in Germany on RTL2.
I was sitting in front of the television at around 1:30 p.m., watching RTL2, when suddenly a television advert came on saying that the new episodes of Winx Club would start right after the next commercial break. I was so excited and overwhelmed because just a short time before, while cleaning my hamster cage, I had a feeling that I also had when I saw Winx for the first time on 13 July 2004. At that moment, I thought to myself that it must have something to do with Winx, and as luck would have it, my feeling was right.
I miss the days when you couldn’t read all the information online very early on and still got to experience the element of surprise. I think back on those days with fondness. How about you? Did you watch the second season back then?
